Un año mas~ Another year

2011 was a year of work. (for which I'm grateful)
Will 2012 be different?
probably not.
You see,
living abroad changed us. I think for the best.
we want to live debt free
we want to buy our first home
and pay it off
and we want to travel
and see the world
debt free.

What are your New Year's Resolutions?

  2. Resolutions... well, one would be to get out of town more often. Yesterday I started putting together posts of what happened in my life in 2011, and it made me realise we only had 3 trips out of town last year! Life has become too busy, we always think "there's too much going on right now, we'll go next weekend/month/in the summer" and suddenly it hits you that the year has gone by and you didn't get to do what you wanted! I'm definitely going with "carpe diem" this year. :)

    Happy New Year!

  4. Ansku,

I couldn't agree with you more! I too need to travel more, I think balance is the key. My trip to New York, made me realize how much I love to discover and meet new people. Hope 2012 brings you lots of traveling!

  8. Happy New Year, Elisa! I know all about wanting to be debt-free and buy a house. The main reason we moved back from Switzerland was we couldn't pay any debt off with my husband's income alone. Now with 2 incomes we paid it all off in one year! 2011 was definitely a year of work for us too. Best wishes for your goals in 2012!

  10. Amanda, good to hear from you!
WOW, that's great that you were able to pay off the debt, isn't a wonderful feeling? like a weight off your shoulders. With all the work you both had, you still had time to travel! looking forward to more of your posts this year.
