A fruit a day...
keeps the snow away!
My sister recently introduced to Greek yogurt, and I love it! Reminds me of the yogurts from Croatia.
I like making smoothies, in fact I have been having one every morning after I return from the gym. (Yeah, I have returned to working out, hopefully I can keep up with it)
So the last photo I actually went outside in the snow! And let me tell you, Brrrrrrrrr.
Going back inside to enjoy my Strawberry Smoothie!
Happy holidays to you and your family. I am sure you are having a wonderful time, and incorporating gym into all of that, well bravo!
ReplyDeleteI love greek yogurt smoothies...Yum!!! They are always so rich and full of goodness:) Hugs and kisses, my dear
ReplyDeleteGood call! This is what I'll have this morning (except I've got some Fage in the fridge.) :)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Dreaming of Palm Trees
Jelena, I tag along with my sister, it helps to have a 'buddy' to motivate each other! hehe especially when the alarm goes off at 5:30am!
ReplyDeleteDiana, and they have about 15gm of protein, so they keep you feeling full longer.
ReplyDelete*Teehee*...Not true! I had fruit and Greek yogurt just yesterday, and today...a snow blizzard!! ^_^ Nice try though.
ReplyDeleteKarina, I was intrigued by the brand Fage so I had to google it. I love the concept behind the company. I don't know if I will find here in the midwest but I would love to try it!
ReplyDelete@Poetess you did??? oh well I tried. LOL
ReplyDeleteI have returned to working out too! joy! :)
ReplyDeleteI love smoothies, but I haven't found a greek yogurt brand I can stick to. I will have to try this brand.
ReplyDeletethis sounds delicious. I love greek iogurt and love smoothies! and yes, it is cold out. I don;t know how do you get to go work out everyday. bravo!
ReplyDeleteElisa, I think they might sell Fage at a Target with groceries. Otherwise, you can try a health store which will most likely carry it! But the Greek brand is good too!
ReplyDeletexo,
Karina
@Krystal, it's a good feeling right?
ReplyDelete@Ana, this brand by Dannon I found is the most affordable and with more protein and less sugar. But you can always sweeten up with fruit. Let me know if you try it and what you think of it!
@Thais, thanks for the words of encouragement!it's hard, and sometimes I don't want to get up, but then I remember how energized I feel afterwards, plus if i eat a larger portion of a meal I rationalize by telling myself that I'm working out so it's ok.
Your pictures are so pretty, Elisa! They always come out so well :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Greek yogurt. One of my favorite breakfasts is vanilla Greek yogurt with mixed berries and almonds.
When you're in the States, Trader Joe's has REALLY good and cheap Greek yogurt - it's my favorite brand of it :)
Hope you're doing well - good for you for getting back into the workout regime!
Yum!! You actually just reminded me that it is time for my afternoon yogurt! Fantastic photos too. Do you get great fruit over there?
ReplyDeletexo Marcie
