Concert at the Park

A new favorite place to visit is the Southglenn mall. I think I have mentioned this place before. In fact, when my sister was visiting here last week we took the kids to the movie theater when the admission tickets were half off. ( I guess I forgot to post those photos, reminder me I have to share them with you)

Well, a few days ago we went out for some ice cream and we arrived to the sound of saxophones and trumpets. What a delight!

And shortly after, it started to rain! Very typical Colorado weather nowadays.
rain mixed with hail

We waited about 10 minutes, it stopped raining, the sun came out and the concert resumed.

Enjoying a scoop of strawberry skateboard ice cream (strawberries with gummy bears, rainbow sprinkles and  marshmallows)

The band, soul school, was amazing! I captured a few videos but had a difficult time uploading them. I'm sure you can  find them on youtube.

Have a wonderful day. I'm off to a fun place (the playground) with Beli.

  6. It was surely an awesome day. A park filled with music and happy people is just the place you'd love to be in. That park is quite big, isn't it? It's interesting what kind of music the band played while they were there.
