A day trip, and you will need an umbrella

These are some photos I never got around to sharing with you from our last trip we took in December to the nearby town of Trogir in Croatia. You may remember the post I did about the charming staircases, what do you think about the sea view and these amazing clouds?

  6. Many people say famous Dutch painters did the best clouds in their paintings.
Being a Dutchman living in Croatia I know for sure they could have done better :-)

Trogir is my favourite little town, historic, charming, human size and free of traffic.
In the tourist season it's fantastic, specially on friday evenings when the waterfront is crowded with people coming and going for a trip of those classic sailing ships moored at the waterfront. (fantastic atmosphere than).
And don't forget those icecreams they make and sell, especially in the centre of town.

I love the first photo...not just cause there's a bicycle in it, but also because of the reflection of you and beli in the door! so cute.

  8. Styl'n oh you must!

Juanita I loved taking strolls on the cobblestone streets and admiring the town's architecture.

Krystal, it was cloudy when we arrived, then the rain caught up with us and by the time we left, the sun was out!

  10. So beautiful! I was wondering if these made you feel nostalgic about your time in Croatia and miss the country already. You look pretty in the gray jacket! Thanks for sharing those photos! I also love your new theme. The soft color and the photo on the banner make your blog look very elegant, pretty, and feminine and the font makes it look stylish!

  13. Pim, I can understand why Trogir is a favorite of yours. It's a charming town indeed! how I miss eating gelatos! But doors are opening here, what is the saying? "make your needs be known and the universe will open doors." So that's what I'm doing.

Ren, if I'm correct you can find rent some of these boats to take you touring around some of the islands near Split.

Tamara, did you walk around the city walls in Dubrovnik?

    Christie thank you!
