ReplyDeletehi Alice, yes Life is good. I have been reading very uplifting blogs, (yours amongst them) and between traveling to the States and back, I have a NEW attitude. Enjoying life...one day at a time and that's what I'm trying to do..I'm hoping I can make my Mom's birthday unforgettable. Our birthdays growing up were simple, as you can see by the pictures. A cake and a home made dress by Mom were the best gifts ever.
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable pictures! Happy Birthday to your mom! About Peru, we did get vaccines before we went! But there are things like dengue that don't have vaccines you just have to pray! ha ha. We ate at the local places all the time and at street vendors and luckily we had no real problems. I few times we got a little sick but nothing major. We were lucky considering we went to the amazon jungle and there is plenty you can catch! Sorry to hear you were in the hospital. How tragic! I get the whole "it wont happen to me" thing. It's bit me in the butt before too.
