on the menu:
An appetizer platter with anchovies, octopus salad, balakar pate and olives.
Lunch: zucchini soup, cucumber, tomato and basil salad, grilled fish komarca (sea bass I believe?) and for dessert kava, coffee.Beli was very happy to have a play date with B.
We talked about what it's like to raise our daughters multilingual. We discussed even opening our own daycare (they are in great demand) or an ethnic restaurant. Is nice to dream right? We love children and good food and of course, the company of good friends. Now how about a siesta, anyone?
That meal looks amazing! Certainly calls for a siesta. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Lunch just looks marvellous! I'd be downright jealous if you said that was a typical, normal lunch for you guys! :D
ReplyDeleteNo, no time for siesta -- bring out the gelatos! :)
Thanks Angie, the appetizer platter was all store bought, the rest we prepared it at home.:)
ReplyDeleteJuanita, I would be lying if I said no, but yes we usually have soup, salad and some sort of fish.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you a gelato...then maybe afterwards more coffee?
