Friday ~Finding Beauty is a weekly event on Claudia's blog Dipity Road. Participating blogs are asked to post a photo of whatever they like on their blog, that touched them in some way and made them feel, see, or appreciate a moment of beauty in their lives.
My beauty is my 21-month old daughter Beli who found her potty training pants but decided she wanted to wear them as accessories instead. I bought them several months ago under the persuasion of my mother to slowly introduce the idea of potty training but I don't think she is quite ready!
What a cute picture! she could start a new trend ;-) Thank you for stopping by my blog. I just read your 'about me' page and gosh - it almost brought a tear to my eye. Your parents went to the US for a better life for their children and you acknowledge and appreciate that... right now we are trying to find the best place to raise our daughter, for her to have the best childhood possible and yet we worry as to 'what is best?' and 'what if in later life she does not think we made the best move?' ... it's difficult, but hopefully we will get there. I will continue to watch your journey... an inspiration! Alice x

ReplyDeleteYes right now with the winter and cold ceramic floor it would be challenging so we are waiting for the summer time.
I stopped over at your blog, and I have to say I love your valentine tree and the teddy bear decoration. Sweet.
@Still life in Southeast Asia, ja,ja si estoy de acuerdo contigo. Quise intercambiar su "sombrero" por una cachucha y no quiso.
ReplyDeleteShe might not be ready for potty training, but the girl can accessorise! LOL! How funny! And yes, beautiful, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHi and Happy Finding Friday Beautiful to you...
ReplyDeleteI so love your blog. Love the precious picture of your little one. Cute as a button. Love her eyes.
I am a Mom of 3 grown kids and have 8 grandkids, so yes I remember these days. They sure are cute, and eventually she will be putting these panties on herself. Some are a little stubborn at first.
I have signed up to follow your blog. I can't wait to see what you share next. Please stop by and let me share my blog with you. I would be so honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well. I am having a 200th post giveaway and would love for you to sign up for that as well.
Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
Thanks Jay, you are right she is all about "fashion" LOL
ReplyDeleteSherry, thanks for your kind words. Of course! I would be delighted to to stop by your blog, maybe it will be my lucky day for that giveaway??
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I remember well my daughters and their cousins as toddlers doing exactly the same thing...they all want to where panties and pullups on their heads like hats!!! Apparently this is not an odd cultural anomaly but common to children around the world!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura, Then I shouldn't be too worried that for now she only sees them as "hats". =)
